Just saw an unmarked one of these fly by my apartment with a marked unit in front and behind of it, I’ve also seen it parked at the police station when I drove by a couple days ago. Sneaky as fuck.

I’ve seen an unmarked Escape, Uplander, and Outback when living in Ottawa.

That’s playing dirty! Then again, I’m so used to seeing Explorers and Crown Vics that I was taken by surprise by a Chevy Impala that had the magic  “WSP” as the last three letters of the license plate.*

I’ve seen the newer style Liberty, Pickups, and various other things, which the weird unmarked cars makes sense because FBI operates around here as well as just about any other government office. Just odd seeing a car that is that old running on calls.

One of the departments in No rthern Virginia had (or has) a blacked out VW Passat wagon. Tuned along with a couple of other mods.

I think VW HQ donated them.

Most of the city department uses the Ghost cruisers anyways, I’m used to unmarked because FBI operates down the street from my house as well as a few other agencies, so we see weird unmarked cars often, but a 13 year old Toyota as a police car is a little off.

I used to live in Maine and the state police have a tuned mustang and a tuned up Focus ST that run on the highway.

Pretty weird.

Haha almost sounds like they’re trying to bait someone into doing a highway pull.

Ruins the fun of getting stopped by a highlander.

My local college has a security department.

They tool around in two different SUVs.

Expedition Platinum (MSRP $70,000) and GMC Yukon XL Denalis (MSRP $85,000 .)

They have about 3,000 students.

Yeah I was gonna say, I’ve seen someone get pulled over by an Uplander. It was a pretty big WTF moment w hen that thing whipped a shitty and hit the lights and sirens.
